PTFE-Modified PPA: PPA PTFE
Full name / composition: PPA + Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
Nature: PTFE powder or fibers are added to the PPA matrix, providing wear-resistant modification.

Core Features:
Extremely low friction coefficient: PTFE is one of the solid materials with the lowest known friction coefficient.
Excellent wear resistance and self-lubrication: Components can operate under little or no lubrication.
Retention of PPA’s heat resistance and mechanical properties: Absolute strength is lower than that of GF-reinforced PPA.

Main Applications:
Wear-resistant moving parts: Gears, bearings, bushings, sliders, cams; especially suitable for “plastic-to-metal” or “plastic-to-plastic” friction pairs.
Self-lubricating mechanical components: Ideal where lubricating oil is undesirable due to potential contamination (e.g., food machinery, textile machinery).
Certain low-load sliding parts in automotive applications.
